Our GRP Electric Meter Box is compliant with BS and DNO – Distribution Network Operators in the UK. Double Opening Doors provides weatherproof storage for electrical equipment . The cabinet doors have a three point lock fitted and very durable hinges, which prevent the cabinet from damage and attempts at tampering and energy theft. The GRP cabinet door has a cylinder lock fitted with a built-in metal ring to install a padlock (padlock not supplied). Our surface mounted GRP cabinet enclosures are suitable for the protection of various items of industrial equipment. They are commonly used by Gas, Water and Electricity providers and local authorities along with the mechanical services industry and many others. IP54 Rated and made with Class 2 Fire Resistant Resin (30 Minute Resistance)

Our GRP housings are manufactured from the highest quality thick GRP materials to withstand the rigours of the harshest weather conditions and are IP54 rated.
Internal finish is a durable GRP finish in white with a 18mm ply back wall to fit equipment. The GRP flooring is solid and strong for surface mounting and is made out of thick insulating fire resistant and self extinguishing composite GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic).
